Sensitivity and Diversity in the Workplace

Workplace sensitivity ensures that everyone in the workplace is respected and treated appropriately, regardless of who they are. It also involves learning to be respectful and consider the perspectives of others while increasing communication.

Sensitivity and diversity training can be an important step in helping employees recognize and respond to bias, so it doesn't influence business decisions or interfere with their ability to work successfully alongside people with different backgrounds, cultures, styles and beliefs.

Better communication is something every workplace strives for and this training will provide some of the basic skills needed to increase communication in an inclusive work setting.

Following this 2-hour interactive training participants will be able to successfully:

  • Define diversity and diversity dimensions
  • State the benefits of diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Define unconscious bias and explain how it can impact behavior
  • Identify inclusive behaviors used to create and sustain a more inclusive environment
