Microsoft Access 2016

Microsoft Access is an information management tool that helps store information for reference, reporting and analysis. Microsoft Access helps you analyze large amounts of information, and manage related data more efficiently than Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet applications.

This hands-on training is appropriate for all skill levels.  The following objectives will be covered:

  • Learn how to create and manage databases
    • Create and modify databases
    • Set up relationships between databases
    • Navigate through a database
    • Backup and maintain databases
    • Print data
    • Export data
  • Build tables
    • Create a table
    • Linking tables
    • Managing tables (hide, freeze, unhide/unfreeze)
    • Add total rows (sum, average, etc.)
    • Manage and append records
    • Find, sort, filter data
    • Create and modify fields
  • Create queries
    • Modify queries
    • Create calculated fields
  • Create reports
    • Report wizard
    • Options
    • Format reports
