NIMS Machining Level I Certification

The University of Southern Indiana, in collaboration with the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) offers NIMS Machining Level I Certification Training. NIMS is the nation’s only distinction for excellence in metalworking training as based on NIMS industry-written, industry approved skills standards. Accredited programs demonstrate the ability to produce skilled, work-ready individuals that fulfill industry’s 21st century workforce needs.

Credentialed faculty in the USI Applied Engineering Center teach all classes.  Hands-on training and online simulations combine to assure participants the opportunity to earn up to 11 different industry-recognized credentials.

Dates and times are scheduled at the client’s convenience and when USI students are not in class at the Applied Engineering Center. We can group specific topics or train on individual topics in order to fit your business needs.
