Maintaining Morale During Organizational Change

Maintaining Morale During Organizational Change focuses the message to managers about how to minimize the emotional reactions associated with change.  The most common emotion associated with change is fear; and while we can't prevent someone from being fearful of change, we can help manage the change process in a way that builds trust and minimizes frustration/fear associated with change.

In this training, the participants will learn:

  • Steps to take to cultivate trust when it comes to organizational change
  • Strategies to minimizing the resistance factors associated with change (e.g., loss of control or excessive uncertainty)
  • How to effectively prepare when having to communicate bad new to a group

Program is some lecture, group discussions, in-class exercises and normally 2 hours in length.  We can customize this program to best fit the needs of your team.
