How to Apply

Each undergraduate applicant is reviewed on an individual basis and evaluated on the following Admissions Standards:

Application Deadline

USI offers rolling admissions which means there is no application deadline. We encourage international students to apply as early as possible and well in advance for the semester in which they are planning to attend. Please consider the time it takes to process your immigration documents by the embassy in your country.

Online Application

  • You should apply as a freshman if you have earned a diploma from an accredited high school, but never attended a college or university before (other than ESL).

  • You should apply as a transfer student if you are currently attending or have previously attended a college or university in any country before enrolling at USI.

  • Intensive English Program (IEP)

    • If you are interested in earning a bachelor's degree after completing IEP, please select the undergraduate "degree-seeking" application.

    • If you are interested in studying in IEP only, and do not wish to earn a bachelor's degree, please select the "non-degree" application.
