Room & Roommate Selection Guide
Current USI Housing Residents
For current USI housing residents, room selection was held March 21-31, 2022.
Any current residents who did not participate in March room selection and have a housing contract will receive an appointment time for June room selection. Appointment times will be held June 6-15, 2022.
Freshmen/Other Students
Incoming freshmen, new transfers and returning residents (who didn't choose space in March) who have housing contracts will select space June 6-15. In order to participate in room selection, the housing contract must be completed by June 3, 2022. Contracts received after this date will be assigned by HRL staff.
Room Assignments
Room assignments will be available online July 15 to students who participated in room selection or have been assigned by HRL staff.

All official communication from USI Housing and Residence Life with prospective and current residents is via USI email accounts. Be sure to check your email account often for important messages.
