USI's accounting program has earned the ultimate mark of quality: special accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Only the top accounting programs in the country hold this designation.
AACSB Accreditation
The University of Southern Indiana Romain College of Business is accredited in both undergraduate and graduate programs from the AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. This distinction for both undergraduate and graduate programs has been accorded to only select institutions internationally.
The USI Accounting program has earned a separate accreditation from the AACSB International, a distinction shared by only select accredited institutions. Currently fewer than 200 business schools worldwide have earned AACSB accreditation in both their business and accounting programs.

USI ranks in top five for CMA exam success.
According to Strategic Finance, USI’s overall pass rate ranked among the top five at 92%—well above the overall pass rate of 58%. Only Cornell University (95%), University of Wisconsin-Madison (94%) and University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (93%) earned rates higher than USI. University of Pittsburgh (90%) rounded out the top five as the only other university with a 90% or greater pass rate.
