Living the Mission

Preparing individuals to live wisely in a diverse community is a mission of USI, one that Meschac Gervais (page 23) has taken to heart as a student employee in USI's Center for International Programs. In two years, he has expanded and strengthened USI's partnerships with local nonprofits by building a robust volunteer service - an effort that has left a lasting impact with community partners, but more so with the USI students who have volunteered as a result of his initiatives. Watch the video to learn more about this forward-thinking young man and read his story in USI Magazine.
