Freshmen Year (0-29 credit hours)

Sophomore Year (30-59 credit hours)

  • Meet with your advisor during the fall and spring semesters
  • Attend career fairs with your updated resume
  • Job shadow
  • Consider minors and specializations
  • Take leadership positions in organizations on campus
  • Consider being on a business case team through the Romain College of Business

Junior Year (60-89 credit hours)

  • Meet with your advisor during the fall and spring semesters
  • Meet with your advisor to talk about your academic plan
  • Update your resume
  • Attend career fairs
  • Talk to USI's Career Services and Internships
  • Apply for internships
  • Create an Eagle Career Launch account
  • Create a LinkedIn account
  • Plan for GRE/GMAT/LSAT

Senior Year (90+ credit hours)

  • Meet with Christy Nolan, Academic Advisor, to fill out graduation paperwork:
    • in August/September for spring/summer graduation; or
    • in January/February for fall graduation
  • Meet with your advisor during the fall and spring semesters
  • Apply for full-time professional positions
  • Apply for internships
  • Volunteer work
  • GRADUATE!
