Advising Centers

The Advising Centers exist to help students with academic advising, exploring and changing majors, graduation paperwork, and everything in between. We encourage students to connect with their advisor on a regular basis to talk about any academic issues or life challenges, roommate issues, homesickness, COVID 19 concerns, or just the most recent show you binge watched. Students should schedule an appointment with their academic advisor at least once a term.

The USI Advising Centers include:

Center for Exploring Majors Advising Center

The Center for Exploring Majors Advising Center works directly with students that are exploring all the different major options available to them at USI. Students must declare a major after earning 60 or more credit hours; at that time they will work directly with an advisor in their chosen major.
