2018 Summer TESOL Class
Since 2016, the University of Southern Indiana has offered certification courses in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Cultural Awareness Training (CAT). These certifications can be completed by undergraduate and graduate students and count for academic credit towards a degree. As of 2021, these certificates can be completed entirely online.
Certifications also are offered to non-degree seeking students and working professionals who want to complete the courses for professional development. Certification programs accommodate alternative modes of delivery based on company needs, time frames, and number of participants and may be offered on location, on campus, or via Zoom. Meeting times can be arranged to include weekends and evening sessions. Contact Dr. Silvia Rode by email, or call 812-465-7026 for more information.
