The USI Foundation presents a unique, 20-minute tour of the University of Southern Indiana Art Collection. The video features Susan Sauls M’16, Director of the University Art Collection, and offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the inventory, care, student involvement and overall management of the collection. The USI Foundation appreciates everyone who supports art, culture and student success at USI!

In May 2019, the USI Women's Choir and Chamber Choir traveled to New York City to participate in the Masterwork Festival Chorus, 20th Anniversary Concert at the prestigious Carnegie Hall. Conductor Simon Carrington led our choir in a performance of Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, a seven-movement piece for choir and instrumentalists based on the Catholic Mass for the Dead.

In this video, students share their experiences in the city and what it was like to perform in Carnegie Hall.

Professor Katie Waters gives her last presentation before her retirement in the Spring 2019 semester. Waters has taught painting and drawing at USI since the fall of 1981. In her last semester at USI, she presented a retrospective view of the artwork she has created in her almost four decades at the University.

Alumna Izumi Greubel M'94 was the first instructor of Japanese language classes at USI in the '90s. She returned to USI after about 12 years to promote her new book as a part of the Alumni-in-Residence program. She and husband Tony Greubel also spoke with Global Studies classes about their lives in foreign service.

Our multi-talented Liberal Arts Advising Center staff is featured in this wonderful video by Public Relations student Melissa Ellis. Created as a part of her Campaigns class with Mary Beth Reese, Melissa wanted to showcase these “wizards” of advising and career placement in a fun way.
