Recreation Theme Living Community

Do you love sports and fitness? Hanging out in the great outdoors? Going to games and supporting USI teams? Looking forward to intramural sports? Hammocking, biking on the USI trails, or anything active? 

Then this is the TLC for you! 

Students of ALL majors are welcome to join the Recreation TLC. Sure, you might be majoring in Sport Management or Personal Training. BUT maybe you're pre-med and you just love basketball. Or maybe you're a theatre major who wants to find rock-climbing buddies or canoeing partners. Join the Recreation TLC and find your people!

TLC Classes: 

Students in the TLC will take your UNIV 101 First Year Experience class together. This is a Core 39 required class. 

TLC Signature Experiences: 

What do you want to do with your TLC? Would you like weekly yoga get-togethers? Your own cheering section at the basketball games? Do you want to go walk dogs at the Vanderburgh Humane Society, so they can get some fresh air with you? Do you want guest presentations on nutrition or how to cope with stress? You'll work with your TLC mentor and your RA to shape your experience to be PERFECT for YOU. 

How do I apply? 

1. Apply for Housing, housing applications are available on December 1 on myUSI.
2. Click on the red housing icon on the left and follow the instructions.
3. After you've completed the main housing application, you will see a link to a special TLC application. You must complete the TLC application IN ADDITION to the main housing application. On the TLC application, you can choose the CoLA TLC
