Student Organization Council (SOC)

This Council is composed of the elected members of each of the Pott College Student Organizations, and acts as a platform for voicing issues and organizational information to the Pott College Student Advisory Board, and ultimately the Dean of Pott College. Executive members of each of the Pott College organizations and clubs are asked to join the Student Organization Council to represent their organization, but general members can also be appointed to the board with special permission. This is a great way for organization leaders to ensure their organization or club is being heard, and their issues are being addressed by both the SAB and others.

The Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education encourages students to take an active role in student organizations and support a variety of clubs and organizations to meet the needs and interests of its students. There are opportunities to participate in student government; student publications; and clubs that plan entertainment, social, volunteer, and educational activities.
