The Pott College Student Campus Community and the University of Southern Indiana hosts diverse engaging programs and events with the student in mind. Throughout the school year, students are invited to participate in events that add to their success whether socially or academically. Whether you're interested in the peer mentoring program or just being an active member of the community, we encourage you to be an active and engaged member of the community through event participation.
Pott College Running Series
Doggy Dash: This event allows whole families (including the four-legged children) an opportunity to walk and run on the beautiful University of Southern Indiana campus. The Doggie Dash 1K, 3K and 5K course supports the health and well being of the Evansville community and provides hands-on experience for USI students. Through the Doggie Day Walk or Run, USI will partner with local organizations and businesses to develop partnerships that will potentially boost community participation on the USI campus. A portion of the proceeds from the Doggie Dash will be used to offer programming and provide professional development opportunities for student clubs within USI’s Pott College. Another portion of the proceeds will be given to It Takes A Village Pet Rescue.
Screaming Eagles Running Series: The focus of this series is to increase the health and well-being of the Evansville community while also providing hands-on experience for students at the University of Southern Indiana. Through these three races, USI will join forces with local organizations and businesses to develop partnerships that will potentially boost community participation on the USI campus.
