Many written contracts or agreements between the University and outside organizations contain sections which have insurance and indemnification wording. Since these requirements obligate the University to maintain specific types of insurance, they should be reviewed by Risk Management before the agreement is signed. Modifications may be necessary to make the agreement acceptable to the University.
