Dr. Andy Buck was awarded a sabbatical for the spring, 2017, to study letters-to-the-editor in Soviet versus post-Soviet Russia, traveling to Petersburg for 8 weeks.
Dr. Vaughn DeCoster with Dr. James Dickerson (Social Work) published a paper, Social Work Student Engagement: A Comparison of BSW, MSW & NSSE Data, in the International Journal of Arts & Sciences.
Dr. Ronda Priest recently concluded a two-year term as the USI Research Liaison for Community One, authoring multiple reports on her research with the Blackford’s Grove, Culver, Downtown, Glenwood, Tepe Park, and the Arts District neighborhoods. She presented her paper, Community Engagement in the Research Classroom, at the 2016 National Social Science Association conference.
Dr. Anne Statham also attended the ASA conference presenting her paper, Preserving the Safety Net the Effort Seen in Virtual Space.
Dr. Steven Williams recently published a book chapter, All Mod Cons: The Who and Rock -n- Roll’s Authenticity.
Dr. Stephen Zehr took a whirlwind trip to Seattle for a committee meeting at the American Sociology Association (ASA) annual conference, then to Barcelona to present at a joint meeting of the Society for Social Studies of Science and European Association for the Study of Science and Technology.
