2020 Senior Seminar Exhibition
October 21 – November 20, 2020
The 2020 Senior Seminar Exhibition is on physical display Wednesday, October 21 through Friday, November 20 at the McCutchan Art Center and Pace Galleries (MAC/PACE) on the University of Southern Indiana campus. This exhibition features the creative work of 26 USI students studying studio art, graphic design, interactive media and illustration.
The senior art and design seminars are capstone courses for art and art education majors. These courses combine discussion of current aesthetics issues in the visual arts with practical knowledge in career or graduate school preparation as well as evaluation of the student artistic growth and potential. This group exhibition is the culmination of these courses and a high point in the art majors’ careers at USI.
Participants in the show include Masor Borowiak, Zach Bruno, Alexandra Davis, Austin Delano, Bridget Eckerle Alli Fogle, Bryce Frimming, Bayley Graham, Jody Henke, Abigail Howard, Hannah Jones, Maddyson Lewton, Faith Long, Cheyenne Mann, Katherine Matthews, Casey McDaniel, Sarah Owens, Andie Ruff, Anna Saylor, Justine Schopmeyer, Asley Seyffarth, Allison Thomas, Benjamin Turner, Stacia Pruitt, Rhonda Williams and Chris York.
Guests are invited to view this exhibition in person at the MAC/PACE. Due to physical distancing limitations in place to limit the spread of COVID-19, no in-person reception has been scheduled for this event. If you plan to bring a group of ten or more people to the galleries, please consider contacting the gallery in advance.
Senior Art and Design students were tasked with creating introduction videos to share with the community, since we are unable to host a large gathering for the art exhibition this year. Take a look at the playlist below to find out more about each student and what they think makes their work special.
