USI Mobile Policy

Our Commitment to each User ('You')

The University of Southern Indiana (USI) wants Your USI Mobile application experience to be as satisfying and safe as possible. Your privacy is of utmost importance to USI.

Use of Information

To access personal information from university records, sign in with your myUSI username and password. USI Mobile encrypts the information in transmission. You may choose to stay signed in, but USI recommends that You sign out when finished, especially if others can get access to Your device. Closing USI Mobile does not automatically end Your authentication status.

USI may tally page views throughout USI Mobile to gather aggregated tracking information, but does not correlate the information with a USI Mobile user's individualized data. Aggregated information improves USI's ability to tailor its content to a user's needs. But under no circumstance does USI reveal a user's individualized information to a third party.

Security

USI uses industry-standard firewall and password protection systems to securely operate its data networks. USI's periodically-updated security and privacy policies allow only authorized personnel to gain access to information that You provide to USI Mobile.

Your Consent

Your use of USI Mobile is completely voluntary, and authorizes USI to collect and use Your submitted information according to this policy. In order to keep You aware of what information USI collects, how USI uses it, and under what circumstances USI discloses it, USI will post to this page any update to USI's privacy policy. You are responsible to return to this page from time to time, including when accepting any USI Mobile update, to verify whether USI has updated this policy.
