Living Learning Community: For Freshmen
At the University of Southern Indiana, freshmen with similar interests, goals, and academic programs can be placed on designated floors within the residence halls. These living learning communities (LLCs) help students create a strong link between their lives in the residence hall and learning experiences in the classroom. Students who reside on a LLC floor enjoy all the same amenities as other residents and benefit from a unique living experience.

CNHP Living Learning Community LogoThe College of Nursing and Health Professions LLC is one of eight communities at USI, and the purpose is to introduce students to career options in health care. Residents are encouraged to become active in community health care and continue their education beyond the classroom.

LLC members participate in both on- and off-campus activities relating to health care to introduce them to Service Learning and the Evansville community. Annually, the Colleges Against Cancer student organization hosts a Relay for Life of Vanderburgh Colleges for students at USI and the University of Evansville. Our LLC sponsors the "HP Healers" team, providing students with an opportunity for a fun, weekend activity during the spring semester.
