General Disclosure of Program Licensure or Certification Requirements

The Dental Hygiene program prepares indiviudals for employment in the state of Indiana. Individuals must pass the National Board Dental Hygiene examination, a clinical exam, and a state jurisprudence exam in order to be licensed in Indiana. The university has not determined if the program meets licensure requirements in other states.

The Dental Hygiene Program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education.
