Degree and Program

The Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Southern Indiana provides a curriculum which includes didactic courses, laboratory and clinical experiences, and community oral health education experiences. This diversity prepares graduates to deliver oral health care services and education in a variety of practice settings. The curriculum is delivered in state-of-the-art facilities and uses a variety of learning resources and information delivery methods.

Core 39
In addition to the departmental degree requirements, undergraduate students must complete the University Core 39. Our core provides the foundation for all baccalaureate degrees at the University of Southern Indiana.
