This website is a collection of resources for students and faculty in partnership with the Upper Midwest Telehealth Resource Center for the purpose of furthering the knowledge and accessibility of telehealth.

Telehealth 101 Button

These resources offer information on telehealth at an introductory level. A scripted Powerpoint and lesson plan have been developed to offer students a general understanding of telehealth before taking a more in-depth look at what is possible.

Telehealth 201 Button

The purpose this curriculum is to reinforce the introductory concepts of telehealth and discuss cultural changes that occurs when incorporating telehealth and virtual care into healthcare delivery. Includes a scripted Powerpoint and lesson plan.

About the Upper Midwest Telehealth Resource Center (UMTRC)

As a federally funded program of the Indiana Rural Health Association (IRHA), the UMTRC provides a comprehensive set of telehealth clinical and technical assistance services leveraged into products of lasting value to rural providers. Many of the resources found on the website are related to reimbursement and development of sustainable telehealth programs. The UMTRC region encompasses the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. Visit the UMTRC website.

The Upper Midwest Telehealth Resource Center (UMTRC) is one of 12 Regional and 2 National Telehealth Resource Centers that are funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (DHHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Office for the Advancement of Telehealth. Together, the National Consortium of Telehealth Resource Centers (NCTRC) cover all 50 states and the United States territories.
