The Minka Learning Lab offers a variety of learning simulations and activities to apply classroom knowledge with hands-on experience on aging, living-in-place, dementia, and telehealth. The simulations with standardized patients are designed and developed in collaboration with USI professors, the College of Nursing and Health Professions' Clinical Simulation Center, and community healthcare professionals. This type of immersive learning with standardized patients helps students experience what it will be like working in their profession.
