Since 1997, Suzanne Kennedy Leahy has served the public and nonprofit sectors in an evaluation research capacity. The GWEP Data and Evaluation Manager position has provided her the opportunity to deepen professional experience in health care settings and pursue professional evaluation interests linked to the social determinants of health. Her relevant experience includes directing federally funded evaluations; aligning national, state and local project evaluation and reporting requirements; designing and implementing data collection efforts across multiple sites; and synthesizing evaluation results in public and agency reports and presentations.
Prior to working at USI, Dr. Kennedy Leahy served as the Evaluation Director at a regional health foundation in Houston, Texas. She also worked for a nonprofit social science-based consulting firm, serving as the vice president for six of her 17 years there. She is a member of the American Evaluation Association, previous board member of the Texas affiliate and a current member of the Indiana Evaluation Association.
