The Family Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA), also known as the Buckley Amendment, is a federal law that protects the privacy of student educational records. For more detailed information about FERPA click here, Download FERPA release form.
This form related to a waiver the student can fill out and designate whom the information about the student's conduct and CARE records can be release to. The student can name people and decide under what circumstance the record may be released. Please download the form and enter the information. The form must be signed by the student and returned to the Dean of Student's Office. The student can email, fax, or drop off the release by the office.
If the student is interested in a release of academic records, students can go the to Registrar's Office, Room 1075 in the Orr Center, to complete the FERPA waiver for academic matters.
