Two Student Organizations Achieve Chapter Designations

Congratulations to the students of Beta Alpha Psi and Accounting and Professional Services club.

USI’s Beta Alpha Psi Chapter was designated as a “Superior” chapter, for the 2016-2017 reporting year, in a competitive system that designates chapters as either a (1) Superior chapter, (2) Distinguished chapter, or (3) Mission-based chapter. In addition to the recognition, the chapter will receive a $500 reward.

Additionally, the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) has selected the University of Southern Indiana chapter of Accounting and Professional Services club to receive the Gold Certificate of Excellence for the year 2016-2017.  It is an honor to achieve this level of success for completing the required elements of the IMA Award of Excellence.

In order to receive the highest designations, our chapters had to complete numerous activities throughout the year, plus submit multiple reports to our global offices throughout the year.  Therefore, it takes a lot of work by our students to receive these outstanding accomplishments.
