Student Showcase: Erika Dunkelberger's "Corruption in the Ivory Trade"

Showcasing the quality of work of our students. This paper is the work of economics and mathematics major Erika Dunkelberger. Titled "Corruption in the Ivory Trade: Optimal Ranger Compensation Policies," it is an example of model-based thinking, where insights emerge by building simple mathematical models. Dr. Sudesh Mujumdar taught the class, ECON 336 Building and Analyzing Economic Models.
