Congratulations to the five students who were inducted into Beta Alpha Psi in the fall 2016 semester:
BAP is an honorary organization for financial information students and professionals. The primary objective is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field.
The new members were sworn in by club officers who presided over the ceremony: Luis Macias, president; Ryan Clark, president-elect; and Caleb Grammer, treasurer.
The initiation ceremony was the final meeting for Dr. Mehmet Kocakulah, professor of accounting, who has been a faculty advisor to the USI chapter. He addressed the BAP members, speaking fondly of the many years he has been involved with students in the chapter and at USI.
