USI Speaking Eagles Toastmasters achieves Distinguished Club designation

The USI Speaking Eagles Toastmasters recently completed requirements to become designated as a Distinguished Club for the fall 2013-spring 2014 year. This is only the second time in the club's fifteen-year history that it has been awarded this designation. Requirements include completing goals in membership retention, member education, officer training, and administrative duties. Toastmasters is an international organization dedicated to improving public speaking and leadership skills. The USI chapter is currently led by faculty advisers Tim Bryan and Jamie Seitz.
