Goals:

  • Ensure that learners/students/graduates possess employer desired professional skills
  • Expose learners to multiple relevant experiential learning activities
  • Support purposeful and sustainable growth in enrollment, retention, and lifelong learning

Create a culture that embraces diversity and inclusion

Goals:

  • Create a more diverse and inclusive climate throughout the college
  • Develop an inclusive strategy for student recruitment and retention from diverse community groups
  • Develop an inclusive strategy for recruitment and retention of faculty from diverse community groups at each rank

Deliver visible impacts on society at the local, regional, state and national levels

Goals:

  • Provide collaborative opportunities with employers, alumni, and other RCOB stakeholders for both faculty and students
  • Establish and maintain visibility in community, news media and social media
  • Provide thought leadership through research and engagement activities

Support opportunities that enhance faculty skills and capabilities

Goals:

  • Address the current and developmental needs of the faculty related to teaching, research, and service activities
  • Enhance the scholarly and professional activity of the faculty
  • Ensure opportunities are available for faculty to experiment with new pedagogies
