New Mileage Rate: Effective July 1, 2022, the University mileage rate is $0.49 per mile (use Google Maps to help with mileage estimates).

If you choose to drive your personal vehicle, then please be aware of the following:

• Section VIII, Use of a Personal Vehicle on USI Business, of the Vehicle Safety Policy.

• Mileage paid may be limited to the cost of reasonable airfare, if applicable.

• Mileage paid will be limited to the distance from the traveler’s primary place of employment or the traveler’s home, whichever is less.
