Article published in the Journal of Forensic Nursing
Angela Morris, Sarah Goletz and Jane Friona are co-authors of an article, "Indiana Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Training Initiative: Positive Impacts for Medical Forensic Care," that was published online in the Journal of Forensic Nursing on March 8, 2022. Southwest Indiana Area Health Education Center, hosted in the USI College of Nursing and Health Professions, coordinates the Indiana SANE Training Project which provides educational opportunities for nurses and healthcare professionals to improve care for victims of sexual assault and abuse throughout Indiana.
Friona is the Executive Director of Southwest Indiana AHEC, and Morris, a forensic nurse, is Coordinator of the Indiana SANE Training Project. A third co-author, Sarah Goletz, serves as a consultant on the Project.
