Want to put your body to the test? Want to evaluate the effectiveness of your training? Want scientific recommendations for the modifications to your current training?

The Human Performance Lab provides a number of health, fitness and performance tests and meets the needs of both competitive and recreational athletes. Whether you plan to run your first marathon, become a competitive cyclist, or just stay fit, we have services designed for you.

The test that will answer these questions for runner/cyclists:

VO2 Max - Lactate Threshold - Flexibility - Body Fat - Heart rate monitoring - Resting Metabolic Rate - DEXA

Athletes of all ages and skills may also be interested in agility, balance, resting metabolism, speed, and strength testing.

To determine which tests might be best for your needs or to schedule single or multiple tests contact the Kinesiology & Sport Department at 812-465-1685. Testing is offered by appointment only.

Directions to the HPL: 

Enter 8600 University Blvd Evansville, IN 47712 into your GPS to reach campus. Once you arrive on our beautiful campus, the Human Performance Lab is in the Physical Activities Center (PAC), which is the first building on the left after the main parking lot. You may park anywhere in the last bay of the main parking lot (Lot C). Enter the building through the front door facing the main parking lot. As you enter, there is a stairwell, go up to the second floor. The room is PAC 230.
