American Chemical Society - Student Chapter
The ACS-SM is a professional organization for students interested in chemistry as a career. Members of this group attend national chemistry meetings and undergraduate research conferences. They host guest lecturers for Chemistry seminars and tour chemical industries.

The ACS-SM participates in many service activities campus-wide and community-wide. These include maintaining Adopt-A-Spot (located in the rear of the Science Center), and helping area Boy Scouts earn Merit Badges in Chemistry.

Social activities, such as picnics, pizza parties, and softball games are also part of the ACS-SM experience.

The faculty advisors are Dr. Mark Krahling and Dr. Ken Walsh

Each year the student group produces a "Survival Guide" to the chemistry department.  This years guide can be downloaded here.
