Booster shots are HIGHLY recommended

Who needs a booster?

Anyone 12 or over that received Pfizer or Moderna shots at least 6 months ago.
Anyone 12 or over that received a Johnson & Johnson shot at least 2 months ago.

You do not need to get the same booster as your original shots. "Mix and match" is safe and highly effective.

Now that the Covid vaccine is available to the entire USI campus community we've been getting a lot of questions about how safe the vaccine is. Our very own Dr. Becky Sparks-Thissen is a Virologist and Immunologist, and she has answered some of the most common questions we've been getting!
