The University of Southern Indiana extends a warm welcome to all who have served or are currently serving our country as well as to the spouses and dependents of service members.

The Veteran, Military & Family Resource Center recognizes military members and dependents have special needs and concerns. Our office seeks to ease the transition from military to civilian life, and will guide you as you embark on or continue your college experience with us.

The Veteran, Military & Family Resource Center is here to assist students with applying for and utilizing Department of Veterans Affairs Education benefits. 

NEW or TRANSFER students may apply for VA benefits, learn more about various VA chapters, and how to complete the application process by visiting our "WHERE DO I START?" checklist for new or transfer students or by visiting the USI Veteran Military and Family Resource Center on campus in the Education Center, Room 0114.  

RETURNING or CONTINUING students are required to complete the a request for for EACH semester you wish to receive benefits. - NEW Semester Educational Benefit Request Form (For ALL VA and ArmyIgnitED requests)
