This is a relaxed environment, and all ability levels are welcome! We will set up in Maclure Square, across the street from the gallery. (If raining, location will be moved inside the Atheneum.) Participants will receive basic drawing instructions, compose a landscape scene, and learn the basics of painting with watercolor.
Participants will be provided with watercolor paper. Participants will be responsible for bringing their own non-mechanical pencils, eraser, watercolor paint, and brushes. This can range from a simple compressed watercolor palette to a variety of watercolor tube paints.
List of suggested watercolor palettes available upon request.
