Have you ever wanted to make your own soap? In this class you will learn to make soap the old fashioned way; with lye and oils. You will learn how to safely use lye, soapmaking oils and understand the properties they contribute to soap. You will create a soap formula and learn what scents and colors work best. Then using your own soap formula, you will make your own soap! There will be a 20 minute break for lunch on your own. You may bring a sack lunch. Water and coffee will be provided. Enrollment limited to six. Age 18 and over.
