USI students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the community have the opportunity to show their school spirit by participating in various competitions over the course of Homecoming week.
- Office Decorating Contest
USI employees show their school spirit to students by decorating their department's office. Judging is based on the use of the Homecoming theme, red and blue and the use of USI's name and images.
- Love Unites, Love Avails Can-Struction Contest
Different organizations, teams, and individuals can join in the fun of Homecoming Can-Struction! Participants will construct a building structure of cans and non-perishable food items within a time limit in efforts to win. All proceeds go to Archie’s Food Closet and food and drinks will he provided! Participants will need to RSVP due to changing COVID-19 guidelines.
- Housing and Residence Life Door Decorating Contest
Do you want to show your Screagle Pride? Decorate your door and show off your spirit! The contest runs throughout Housing and prizes will be awarded to the winners!
