Covid-19 & Admissions Fall 2022

The Radiologic & Imaging Sciences plans to utilize this page to inform students of information or decisions regarding admissions procedures for Fall of 2022. Please visit this tab for future updates.

  • The program does not require observations for admissions. However, any time spent in a radiology department can benefit the student with knowledge of the field of radiology and the responsibility and roles a radiologic technologist may have. Given that students may not have the opportunity for these experiences, the program has made the following decisions:
    • One additional point toward admissions will be given for Fall 2022 applicants for having completed 16 hours of observation in a radiology department.
    • In regards to the admission narrative where the narrative question asks "What have you learned through your volunteer experiences within a radiology department?", students are being asked to write to the following alternative question when they have no observational experience: "What have you learned through your independent research, communications with a professional working in the field, or in the RADT 196: Introduction to Radiologic and Imaging Sciences course?
