Clinical Attire

Students will wear professional attire appropriate for the clinical experience. Each student must wear a name tag that identifies that individual as a University of Southern Indiana graduate nursing student. Professional appearance is required for all clinical experiences. No perfumes or odors should be detectable for clinical experiences. Clothing should be clean and free of wrinkles. Fingernails should be short and clean. Hair should be clean, dry, and restrained appropriately. A wrinkle-free, clean white lab coat is required for clinical experiences. Closed toe-shoes should be worn.  Additionally, students must comply with the clinical agency’s dress code.
