Grading Scale

             A= 92-100%    B+=88-91%    B=83-87%    C=74-82%    F=below 74%

In order to pass a course which contains both classroom and clinical requirements, the student must pass BOTH the classroom and clinical components. When using a percentage score to assign grades, a passing grade is considered 83% or greater. If a student receives less than an 83% on either the classroom or clinical portion of the course, the lower grade is recorded.

Input from the clinical preceptor will be reviewed when determining the clinical grade in a course. The clinical faculty are solely responsible for the assigning the student’s clinical grade in a course.

No extra credit opportunities will be utilized in graduate nursing courses.  All courses for the degree must be completed successfully in order to graduate.
