In order to pass a course which contains both classroom and clinical requirements, the student must pass BOTH the classroom and clinical components. If a student receives less than an 83% on either the classroom or clinical portion of the course, the lower grade is recorded for the final course grade.
Input from the clinical preceptor will be reviewed when determining the clinical grade in a course. The clinical faculty are solely responsible for the assigning the student’s clinical grade in a course.
No extra credit opportunities will be utilized in graduate nursing courses. All courses for the degree must be completed successfully in order to graduate.
