Accreditation Statements
In support of improving patient care, University of Southern Indiana Center for Health Professions Lifelong Learning is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, the University of Southern Indiana Center for Health Professions Lifelong Learning is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. The University of Southern Indiana maintains responsibility for these courses.
Many of these activities are planned by and for the healthcare team and therefore qualify for Interprofessional Continuing Education Credit (IPCE). This logo will appear for any activities that meet the criteria for IPCE credit.
Commission for Case Manager Certification
This program has been pre-approved by The Commission for Case Manager Certification to provide continuing education credit to CCM® board certified case managers. This logo will appear for any programs that meet the criteria for PACE credit.
National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
The University of Southern Indiana’s Online Continuing Education for Health Professionals department has achieved accreditation by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC) as a Multiple Event Provider (MEP) of Continuing Education for Health Education Credentialing. This accreditation is good for four years, running from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2023.
Health Professions and Dentistry
The University of Southern Indiana is an approved provider for continuing education by the Indiana Health Professions Bureau and the Illinois Board of Dentistry.
State of Indiana
The University of Southern Indiana is an approved provider of continuing education for social workers, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, dental professionals, and other health professionals licensed in the state of Indiana.
State of California
