Student organizations can be eligible for up to $800 of funding per adjusted fiscal year.
Who is eligible?
University of Southern Indiana recognized and/or registered student organizations, who are in “good standing” as deemed by the Center for Campus Life.
A student representative (the student organization’s treasurer and/or the primary person spending the funds) MUST COMPLETE Student Organization Activity Fund (SOAF) training and fill out the acknowledgement form. Training is not completed until student is notified by Student Development Programs that the acknowledgement was received.
Who is NOT eligible?
Honorary organizations that are not USI recognized and/or registered student organizations. Temporary Student Organizations are NOT eligible. USI student organizations who receive annual university funds from the student activity fee, including but not limited to, Student Government Association, Student Housing Association, Activities Programming Board, the Shield, the SPIN radio, Graduate Student Network and USI Club Sports.
Funding requested must follow all university policies and federal, state, & local laws. Student Organizations MUST HAVE an on campus agency fund to receive the funds
DEADLINES
2021-2022 – Funding is available September 1, 2021 - May 13, 2022
Spending must be completed by May 13, 2022
ONLINE TRAINING
Grant requests will not be available until September 1. In order to access the grant, the organization’s TREASURER must attend one of the virtual training sessions. If the treasurer cannot attend, the president of the organization can ask a replacement member to attend. This training is ONLY REQUIRED if your organization wants to use the $800 grant.
