Student Organizations

Involvement Fair

The USI Center for Campus Life is dedicated to enhancing the 150+ student organizations at the University of Southern Indiana!

First, there are three different types of student organizations at USI. Registered independent student organizations successfully complete the registration requirement, engages in sustained activities and/or programs and use facilities on a regular basis and receives no annual financial assistance. Recognized University student organizations successfully complete the registration requirements and receive annual financial support from University sources. A “temporary” independent student organization is one that will exist for a specified period of time or has a purpose that has a definite timeline and has completed the appropriate registration requirements. Example of temporary student organizations include political campaigns groups for specific candidates.

To explore all the student organizations USI has to offer, we encourage USI students, staff, and faculty to use EagleSync through the myUSI system. Our most up-to date listing can also be found here. Student Organizations & Activities Policies can be found here

Our student organizations vary over 15 different categories. Throughout the academic year, these organizations hold events, raise money toward numerous philanthropies, volunteer in Evansville and the surrounding area, offer leadership opportunities for their members, and promote diversity here on campus, all while having fun!  Stop by the Center for Campus Life (UC East 1256) or join us on EagleSync and see which organization(s) you would like to join!
