Employee Picnic

The Employee Picnic is held in May right after the Spring semester ends. The Picnic is free for all USI employees where the food is focused around a theme.

No RSVP's are required to attend, but the staff council members request a non-perishable food donation for Archie's Closet. Those attending will be greeted at the door where a box will be available for your donations.

Themes for the picnics vary year to year and are voted upon by Staff Council. Previous themes have included:

  • Don't Get Board this Summer highlighting various board games and a team Family Feud competition was a huge success. Click here to see photos!
  • Go Team USA in recognition of the 2016 Summer Olympics being held in Rio, Brazil.
  • Get Ready to Boogie celebrating the 70's DECADE.
  • Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs featuring different types of food hanging from the ceiling along with a powerpoint that showed scenes from the actual animated film.
  • Rodeo Round-Up where a local group of square dancers entertained the guests. Also Patty Marcum's PED Dance class showed us a few moves on the dance floor as well.
  • South of the Border showcased a group of USI International students from Mexico who gave a dance demonstration.
