American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU)
The AASCU represents more than 430 public colleges, universities and systems of higher education throughout the United States and its territories.  The association has a four-fold purpose.

American Association for Higher Education (AAHE)
AAHE is a membership organization that serves its members, other individuals, communities, and institutions in the higher education community by building their capacity as learners and leaders and increasing their effectiveness in a complex, interconnected world.

American Association of University Administrators (AAUA)
A professional organization for the broad range of career administrators in American colleges and universities.

American College Personnel Association (ACPA)
ACPA is the leading comprehensive student affairs association that advances student
affairs and engages students for a lifetime of learning and discovery.

American Council on Education (ACE)
ACE, the major coordinating body for all the nation's higher education institutions, seeks to
provide leadership and a unifying voice on key higher education issues and to influence public policy through advocacy, research, and program initiatives.

Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U)
AAC&U is a leading national association concerned with the quality, vitality, and public
standing of undergraduate liberal education. 

Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (AGB)
The Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges is dedicated to strengthening the performance of boards of public and private higher education.

College Board
The College Board is a not-for-profit membership association whose mission is to connect students to college success and opportunity.  Among its best-known programs are the SAT, the PSAT/NMSQT, and the Advanced Placement Program.

CUPA-HR (College and University Professional Association for Human Resources)
CUPA-HR serves human resource administrators at colleges and universities as well as others interested in the advancement of human resources in higher education, including
students and HR service providers.

Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE)
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education is the professional organization for advancement professionals at all levels who work in alumni relations, communications, and development.

Council on Governmental Relations (COGR)
The Council on Governmental Relations is an association of research universities.  COGR is involved in the development of all major financial and administrative aspects of federally-funded research.

Education Commission of the States (ECS)
ECS keeps policymakers on the leading edge of what's happening in the states by gathering, analyzing and disseminating information about current and emerging issues, trends and innovations in state education policy.  ECS tailors its services to individual states' needs, interests and resources to help policy makers make the right decisions for their state.

Educause
Educause is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology.

Higher Learning Commission
The HLC is one of six regional institutional accrediting associations in the United States. Through its Commissions it accredits, and thereby grants membership to educational institutions.

Indiana Commission for Higher Education (CHE)
The CHE coordinates planning and budgeting for higher education in Indiana by working closely with public and independent colleges and universities.

Institute for Higher Education Policy
The Institute for Higher Education Policy is a non-profit, non-partisan organization whose mission is to foster access and success in postsecondary education through public policy research and other activities that inform and influence the policymaking process.

Middle States Commission on Higher Education
MSCHE is the unit of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools that accredits
degree-granting colleges and universities in the Middle States region.  It examines the institution as a whole, rather than specific programs within the institution.

Midwestern Higher Education Commission (MHEC)
The MHEC is charged with promoting interstate cooperation and resource sharing in higher education.  As of July 1999, the member state of MHEC are Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO)
A non-profit, nationwide association of the chief executive officers serving statewide coordinating and governing boards of postsecondary education.

National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO)
NACUBO represents chief administrative and financial officers through a collaboration of knowledge and professional development, advocacy, and community.

National Education Association (NEA)
NEA is the nation's largest professional employee organization and is committed to advancing the cause of public education.

The National Information Center for Higher Education Policymaking and Analysis
This website has been established to provide higher education policymakers and analysts with the data and information needed to make sound policy decisions. 

Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE)
WICHE provides a wide range of initiatives and information to support Western states' concerns bout higher education public policy issues and better informed decision-making.
