The Bursar's Office is available to assist you Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. For an appointment, please email the Bursar's Office at bursar@usi.edu. Appointments are not required for transactions at the cashier windows.

Fall 2022 Billing and Payment Information

Payment plans are available throughout the month of September. Enroll now with a 25% down payment and three monthly installments due on the 16th of each month through December. There is no fee to enroll and no interest on your monthly installments. Beginning October 1, payment plans will require 50% down with two installments due in November and December. Student Debt Relief Plan Information

On August 24, 2022, President Biden announced the Student Debt Relief Plan. It includes a one-time student loan cancellation to be granted based on income, and it also extends the loan payment pause through December 31. Students inquiring about their eligibility and to view your complete federal aid history, including loan balances and Pell Grant recipient status, please visit StudentAid.gov. 

To manage the high volumes of visitors and prevent login errors, the Department of Education (ED) has activated a Waiting Room for StudentAid.gov. The Waiting Rooms is a "Please Wait" screen that may appear when a visitor reaches StudentAid.gov. Based on site traffic, the average wait time on the screen has been one to two minutes.

Fall 2022 Refunds

We highly encourage students to enroll in eRefunds (direct deposit) through TouchNet. eRefunds is a fast, convenient, and secure way of receiving any tuition or financial aid refund. Refunds are processed within five to ten days after the credit balance is established. You may check your account balance by logging into MyUSI and the TouchNet app.

The goal of the Financial Care Team is to assist students who find themselves in unexpected financial distress. If you are unable to pay your balance, please complete a Financial Care Team referral.
